The Department of Plastic Surgery, Peking University Third Hospital (PkU3H) has a proud history: it came into existence along with P.R.China in 1949 and is an earliest professional department on plastic surgery in P.R.China; Professor Zhu Hongyin, Wang Damei and Kong Fanhu are praised as plastic surgery masters and founders in the field of Chinese plastic surgery who have made their huge contribution to the development of Chinese plastic surgery.
